Want to do something fun outdoors with the children while visiting Valkenburg? Go on a Drakenjacht in Geulpark by Kasteel Oost. During this digital outdoor treasure hunt for children aged 3 to 8, you use the map on your phone to find 8 young dragons. Each dragon has a short challenge, followed by the chance to take a magical photo with the dragon you have found.
Geulpark lies along the River Geul and around Kasteel Oost. During Drakenjacht, you walk through both the green park and the castle gardens. The park is also home to Natuurspeeltuin Geulpark, where children can play with water, sand and natural materials.
