What you'll do

Looking for a fun treasure hunt with children in Leeuwarden? You can go on a Drakenjacht together in the Prinsentuin. During this digital outdoor treasure hunt for children aged 3 to 8, you use the map on your phone to find 8 young dragons. Each dragon has a short challenge, followed by the chance to take a magical photo with the dragon you have found.

The Prinsentuin lies close to Leeuwarden city centre, between the old defensive rampart and the city canal. Its paths wind between old trees, greenery and water, making it a lovely place to search for dragons together. It is also easy to combine Drakenjacht with a visit to Leeuwarden’s city centre.
